Eligibility criteria for a language to be called as 'Semmozhi'

# It should have been born atleast 2000 years ago. It should have literary continuity for 2000 years. And is still existing.
# It should have given birth to other languages.
# It should have helped the world improving in Culture.
# The world has only five languages which have the 'Semmozhi' status. Tamilzh is one amongst them.

tamil is a live and vibrant language inspite of being a contemporary of some of the
dormant languages of yester millennium.-jv

tamil did not simply assimilate with sanskrut culture but has really contributed to sanskrut
many of the sanskrut vocabulary has the root deivative of tamil root words-jv

tamil is not solely dependent on sanskrut like other indian /satum languages but still
remains the only indian language which can stand alone with its rich and evolutionary
vocabulary

the classic/semmozhi nature of a language does not simply depend on a present citeria
but how it will sustain itself in its posterity - how it will be conserved/protected/evolved
with ever changing days to come.

You are a Masterpiece!

A plum once said, just because a banana lover came by, I converted myself into a banana. Unfortunately, his taste changed after a few months and so I became an orange. When he said I was bitter I became an apple, but he went in search of grapes. Yielding to the opinions of so many people, I have changed so many times that I no more know who I am. How I wish I had remained a plum and waited for a plum lover.
Just because a group of people do not accept you as you are, there is no necessity for you to strip yourself of your originality. You need to think good of yourself, for the world takes you at your own estimate. Never stop down in order to gain recognition. Never let go of your true self to win a relationship. In the long run, you will regret that you traded your greatest glory - your uniqueness, for momentary validation. Even Gandhi was not accepted by many people. The group that does not accept you the way you are, is not your world.
There is a world for each one of you, where you shall reign as king / queen by just being yourself. Find that world... in fact, that world will find you.
What water can do, gasoline cannot and what copper can, gold cannot. The fragility of the ant enables it to move and the rigidity of the tree enables it to stay rooted. Everything and everybody has been designed with a proportion of uniqueness to serve a purpose that we can fulfill only by being our unique self. You as you alone can serve your purpose and I as I alone can serve my purpose. You are here to be you... just you.
There was a time in this world when a Krishna was required and he was sent; a time when a Christ was required and he was sent; a time when a Mahatma was required and he was sent; There came a time when you were required on this planet and hence you were sent. Let us be the best we can be. Don't miss yourself and let the world not miss you.

In the history of the universe, there has been nobody like you and to the infinite of time to come, there will be no one like you. Existence should have loved you so much that it broke the mould after making you, so that another of your kind will never get repeated. You are original. You are rare. You are unique. You are a wonder. You are a masterpiece... your Master's piece. Celebrate your Uniqueness.

Its all about Mind

A Learned one was walking from one town to another town with his disciples. While they were traveling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and the Learned one told one of his disciples, "I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake there."

The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought, "How can I give this muddy water to my master to drink!"

So he came back and told his master , "The water in there is very muddy. I don't think it is fit to drink." After about half an hour, again the Learned one asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake.

This time too he found that the lake was muddy. He returned and informed his master about the same. After sometime, again the master asked the same disciple to go back. The disciple reached the lake to find the lake absolutely clean and clear with pure water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it looked fit to be had. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to his master.

The Learned one looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said," See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be.... and the mud settled down on its own - and you got clear water.

Your mind is also like that! When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don't have to put in any effort to calm it down. It will happen. It is effortless.
