rajini-sultan-the-warrior Superstar Rajnikanth is all set to be seen on screens in this year, with his films “Raana”. The movie ‘Sultan’ which is an animated cum fictitious subject, will be hitting screens in the coming May 2011. The movie’s name has been changed now to ‘ Raana’ for a purpose and the last 28 minutes will be showing Trisha pairing with actor Rajnikanth in lead.




According to sources Soundarya Rajnikanth, is planning to release the movie worldwide in 2011 and insisted director KS Ravi Kumar, to direct some fictious portions. KS Ravi Kumar recommended Trisha’s name for RAANA and so will be joining the studio shooting schedule from early march 2011.
Recently, Rajnikanth disbursed al the debts of his daughter Soundarya, which amounted to Rs 10 crores. So, now the young mind is free from any kind of mental tensions and is innovatively working on ‘Raana’ in order to make it a super success like ‘Endhiran’.


After setting the box office on fire with Endhiran, the Robo, superstar Rajinikanth has decided to act in Raana movie that will be directed by KS Ravi Kumar. Actually Rajini and Ravi Kumar teamed up to do a half hour live action sequence in animated movie Hara. But the duo has decided to go with Rana now.

Rajinikanth will be playing triple role in Raana, as per the news sources. It will be co-produced by Eros International and Ocher studios. Rana is a trilingual and will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

AR Rahman scores the music and Ratnavelu handles the camera for Raana. The technical and special effects director will be Soundarya Rajnikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios. Editing will be done by Anthony and art director is Rajeevan. Raana is expected be launched in March and will be ready for release in 2012.
