Houses of Parliament were adjourned

The logjam in Parliament doesn't seem to end. Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned till 12 noon within minutes of opening this morning amid Opposition's insistence for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the 2G scam.




The morning sessions in both Houses were marked by sloganeering and loud protests.




The question that many are asking is if matters continue like this will the government decide to cut short the winter session? What the Opposition will also be closely watching is what the Supreme Court will have to say on the PM's affidavit on Raja.






"I think the government may reconsider its position. I think good sense will prevail upon the government in order to keep our Parliament and democracy to move on. The government will have to concede to the demand which is reasonable, made by the Opposition parties," said CPI leader.
